Community Voices for Youth & Families (CV4YF) was created to advocate for government to invest adequately in the needs of children, youth, and families on Long Island.

Community Voices has been meeting for over three years to discuss strategies for guaranteeing a healthy funding stream for these vital services. We are happy to report that our 2017 Campaign was a success! With the support of the NYS Legislature, CV4YF was able to secure $1.5 million dollars for over 40 Long Island youth-serving agencies.

We are currently gearing up for the 2018 campaign season and finalizing our membership for this round of advocacy. Please note that this membership also includes access to a great network of youth service agencies which have a vested interest in the success of this campaign for all of Long Island’s youth and families. All members are granted access to a number of resources, which includes real-time updates from Albany, as well as technical assistance to agencies. We can also provide assistance with local county efforts, help build strategic partnerships with other agencies, and nurture relationships with elected officials.
